2. Booking & Acceptance
2.1 A booking request becomes a confirmed order once accepted by SURESEND LTD.
2.2 We reserve the right to refuse any booking where we consider the delivery unsuitable, unsafe, unlawful, or outside our operating capability.
2.3 The Customer must provide accurate and complete information, including:
Collection address
Delivery address
Contact details
Package description
Dimensions and weight
Any special handling requirements
2.4 Incorrect information may result in additional charges or delays.
3. Collection & Delivery
3.1 We will make reasonable efforts to complete deliveries within the agreed timeframe.
3.2 Delivery times are estimates unless a guaranteed service has been agreed in writing.
3.3 We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:
Traffic conditions
Road closures
Weather
Accidents
Vehicle breakdowns
Customer delays
Incorrect address information
Recipient unavailability
3.4 The Customer is responsible for ensuring the recipient is available to accept delivery.
4. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer confirms that:
4.1 They have the legal right to send the goods.
4.2 Goods are packaged securely and suitable for transport.
4.3 All information provided to us is accurate.
4.4 The goods comply with UK laws and regulations.
4.5 The Customer will inform us of any fragile, hazardous, high-value, or special-handling items before collection.
5. Prohibited Items
We do not accept items including (but not limited to):
Illegal goods
Controlled drugs
Weapons or firearms
Explosive materials
Dangerous chemicals
Live animals (unless specifically agreed)
Perishable goods requiring specialist transport
Cash, currency, or negotiable instruments
Items prohibited by UK law
If prohibited goods are discovered, we may refuse transport and notify relevant authorities where required.
6. Charges & Payment
6.1 Prices are based on information provided at the time of booking.
6.2 Additional charges may apply for:
Waiting time
Additional mileage
Failed delivery attempts
Incorrect addresses
Additional handling requirements
Changes requested after booking
Cancellation (see 7.)
6.3 Payment is due within agreed terms and/or agreed credit terms.
6.4 Late payments may be subject to interest and recovery costs in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where applicable.
7. Cancellation
A cancellation fee may apply where the following conditions are met:
Vehicles 3.5T and below:
Same Day Bookings: Cancellation after the vehicle has arrived at the collection location.
Next Day Bookings: Cancellation within 120 minutes of the scheduled collection time.
Vehicles 7.5T and above:
Same Day Bookings: Cancellation more than 30 minutes after booking confirmation.
Next Day Bookings: Cancellation after 5pm on the previous business day, or cancellation at any time on the collection day before arrival.
7.1 Where cancellation conditions are met, SURESEND LTD reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the original booking value, subject to a minimum charge which may apply.
8. Liability
8.1 We will take reasonable care of goods while they are in our possession.
8.2 Our liability is limited to losses directly caused by our negligence or breach of contract.
8.3 SURESEND LTD shall not be responsible or liable for:
a) Any indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of profit, business interruption, loss of market, or loss of goodwill.
b) Any loss, damage, or delay caused by circumstances outside the reasonable control of SURESEND LTD, including but not limited to force majeure events, industrial action, acts of God, government restrictions, or other external events.
c) Any loss or damage resulting from inadequate packaging, incorrect labelling, inaccurate addressing, or insufficient preparation of goods by the Customer or its representatives.
9. Goods Damage or Loss Claims
9.1 Any damage or loss must be reported to us within 7 days of delivery.
9.2 Claims must include supporting evidence, including photographs, proof of value, and delivery details.
9.3 Failure to report within this timeframe may affect our ability to investigate the claim.

12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will apply to future bookings.
